MIND

So, when the mind was invented where did they put the owners manual? If someone has it, can he please return it as soon as possible?

…………………

The mind is a faithful servant. The trouble is that its owner seems to be a bit of a lunatic.

…………………

The mind – it doesn’t stop, does it? Yap yap yap. Blather blather blather. Round and round it goes, prattling away; gorging itself on your life-force.

And then you notice it. And it stops.

And then, once more, yap yap yap. Blather blather blather. Round and round it goes, prattling away; gorging itself on your life-force.

And then you notice it. And it stops.

These are your first steps in learning how to control your mind. In realising your power.

…………………

The mind, ah yes. Some of us, we belittle it, and we castigate it, because we feel that it isn’t serving us, that it is harming us. And yet, that is merely because we have abused this wonderful, wonderful gift. …

I can’t even begin to put into words all the incredible, astonishing, amazing, phenomenal capacities that derive from the mind. And yet, we are all so much more. So much more …
