COMPENSATION CULTURE

This is my understanding of the ‘compensation culture’ in which we live. If you fail to take responsibility for what happens in your life, no matter how much money you get, it cannot compensate for how you feel.

If you spend your life being embittered and resentful, believing that other people deserve to pay for what they did to you; if you believe that you are a victim of circumstance, that other people have ruined your life; then no matter how much money you get, it cannot compensate for how you feel.

I am going to be very blunt here: if you expect to get without giving anything back, you, sir, are a leech on society. And no amount of money can possibly compensate for that.
