It is only when you fully accept death that you can start to live life.

The fear of death is essentially the fear of the unknown. People are afraid that death will be worse than they could possibly imagine. But what if it is actually much better than one could possibly hope for?

Your worst fears in life are usually not realised – apart from in your imagination. So why shouldn’t it be the same with death too?

Seeing as you haven’t yet experienced it, you cannot say for sure what death will or will not be. So, it is not death, itself, that you are afraid of, but your perception of death. That is good, because while you cannot change the fact of death you can change how you perceive it.

It is your imagination that creates the reality of your life. And, by extension, your death. So why not imagine death as being something truly wonderful? Why not celebrate this great voyage into the unknown?

At the very least, it will make you happier in life.
